Sunresin Q&A

  1. What year did your company begin manufacturing materials for enzyme
    immobilization?

    2013
  2. Can you give some historical background about your company – how/why did
it become a producer of enzyme immobilization materials?

Our company reacts to the needs of the market. At that time, enzyme immobilization
was limited to 2 main suppliers with limited supply. Sunresin builds a dedicated process
    for enzyme carriers’ production.
  3. What industries do you supply?
Water, Chemical, Food, Agrochemical, Pharma, and specialty applications. Our portfolio
    for products encompasses every industry!
  4. What is the maximum batch size your company can produce?
3 tons. Sunresin is currently the largest enzyme carrier supplier in the world capable of
producing up to 360 tons per year without any problem. We can increase production if
needed but we can currently produce more enzyme carriers than the rest of the
    competition combined.
  5. What is your standard lead time?
Typically, in weeks but aim to deliver any quantity within 3 months even if not in stock.
  6. What makes your materials special?
Sunresin customizes our resins to the customer’s needs. That increased the amount of
epoxy resins for enzyme immobilization from 2 to about 10 within 3 years.
  7. Anything else you want people to know?
Sunresin is currently looking into offering immobilized enzymes. So in case the
customer wants the enzyme immobilized at Sunresin facility, this will be possible in
    2026.
